Celebrate Spring With These Beauty Products

Goodbye winter, hello spring! Another season has suddenly came to an end and made way for new beauty favorites.

With all of the rain (and snow) we had in LA, I constantly found myself on Sephora’s website. A pure innocent act, unless you happen to be like me and have a weakness for online shopping. While these products are all excellent for the drying condition winter leaves us in, they are basic enough to be used all year long. Read up, and give these products a try…you’ll be thanking me later.

L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara—blackest black

I am a mascara addict. With a few simple swipes of a wand, your entire face can be defined and flawless. I have tried every raved-about tube. Lucky for me, and my bank account, this one for a mere $8.99 surpasses them all! A coat or two makes a perfect daytime casual look, while layering on top of L’Oreal’s Voluminous Mascara creates lashes so dramatic that people will assume they’re false. No pain and glue? Count me in.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer:

When it comes to makeup less is more, which is why applying correctly is necessary. Applying a lotion first is MANDATORY girls, lets keep those wrinkles away. Next step? Primer. I fell in love with this primer because it leaves my skin feeling silky, soft and flawless. As if that’s not enough, it’s lightweight and my makeup looks fresh all day long. In summer this item will be a lifesaver. At $49 it’s a little pricey, but the splurge is worth it. A smaller size is available for $32 for those on a budget.

Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment:

Having colorful lips brightens up even the dullest of looks, but for daytime lipstick can be a little overboard. My newest obsession involves this lip treatment — it’s easy to apply, moisturizes my lips, and has just the right amount of color. It is available in two tones, Rose and Plum and only costs $22.50. Like it wasn’t perfect enough already, it even has SPF 15. Protect those puckers and preserve your beauty!

L’Oreal EverSleek Shampoo & Conditioner:

I’ve tried every product out there from salons to shelves, and despite the rumor that all shampoos and conditioners are the same, the quality of the product really does make a difference. Recently, I was out of my Bumble & Bumble and decided to try the EverSleek line — I heard it was pretty good for a drugstore buy. I was pleasantly surprised at how healthy and sleek my hair felt after using this shampoo and conditioner. These products definitely compare to it’s top of the line competitors and at only $5.99 you can spend your hard earned cash on other products…or maybe a margarita!

Philosophy-Hope Is All You Need Set:

The most refreshing part of your daily regiment just got better. This line of skin care, available for $48, is an investment you won’t regret. The kit comes with a one-step facial cleaner, microdelivery exfoliating wash, moisturizer and eye cream. The root of beauty lies with perfect skin, so spoil your face and let the beauty shine through!

So, there you have it — my top beauty choices for the changing season. Try one or all five and be amazed at how beautiful they will make you look and feel!
