10 Ways To Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we want all of our readers to give back.

Even if you haven’t directly been effected by breast cancer, more than 232,000 women will be diagnosed this year. Sadly, 108 women die per day from this illness.

With so many outlets assisting research for breast cancer, there’s no excuse not to participate. Sign up for a race, send a check or go shopping! Several major brands will be donating a percentage of earnings to breast-cancer-related causes this month.

Getitwhit is all about women in power. Don’t just sit back and relax, help find a cure. Here are 10 ways you can contribute this month…

1. Avon — Rose Zippered Case ($5)

100% of all net proceeds will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. Today, this crusade has raised over $780 million toward breast cancer care and research in 58 different countries. At just $5, how can you pass this adorable bag up?

2. Loft — Live In Pink Necklace ($69.50)

Designed by Giuliana Rancic (a breast cancer survivor and E! News host) and Suzanna Dai (fashion designer), 60% of the purchase price will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
