Miley Cyrus performed on the ‘TODAY’ show — but her performance of dancing mushrooms and rainbows is not what we are talking about.
What we will be discussing is her comment on the Sinead O’Connor brawl. Opening up to the ‘TODAY’ show crew on Monday, Miley Cyrus says her beef with the singer is “kind of crazy.”
First, she opens up with a compliment. “I think she’s an incredible artist, I think she’s an awesome songwriter, and I was really inspired by her for my ‘Wrecking Ball’ video, which was what started the whole thing.”
Now, we’d like to ask, “how in the world was that music video inspired by Sinead O’Connor?” (We bet she’s wondering too).
“I don’t know how someone can start a fight with somebody who said, ‘Hey, I really respect you. And I really love what you what you did.’ ‘You know what? You suck! I don’t like you!’ That was kind of crazy,” she added.
And Miley Cyrus closes with another compliment. “But as I said, I’m a big fan of hers, so it doesn’t really matter. It’s all good. You can write as many open letters as you want. That’s really what blogging is. I get open letters every day. It’s nothing too new for me.”
