Ariana Grande Holds Benefit Concert For Manchester Victims

Ariana Grande‘s “One Love Manchester” benefit concert raised nearly $3 million this past Sunday.

The show was held less than two-weeks after a lone bomber killed 22 people and injured 100 following the singer’s May 22 concert. Held just miles from where the bombing took place, the concert showcased performances from Ariana, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay and more. Manchester native Liam Gallagher also made an appearance at the sold-out event.

Some tearjerking moments from the three-hour show included Ariana singing “Where Is the Love” with the Black Eyed Peas and her emotional speech about meeting one of the victim’s family.

The concert, which held over 55,000 people, was broadcast through BBC in Britain and is the largest live event that’s taken place on tv this year. The $3 million has been donated to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which has already raised over $12 million. The proceeds go to aiding the families and victims of last month’s attack.
